LOVEBITES – Clockwork Immortality

Am 7. Dezember, 2018 veröffentlichten die Überflieger der japanischen Metalszene LOVEBITES ihr neues Album „Clockwork Immortality“. 

Die Band, bestehend aus Asami (Gesang), Midori (Gitarre), Miyako (Gitarre/Keyboard), Miho (Bass) und Haruna (Schlagzeug) hat ihren ganz eigenen Sound. Er ist geprägt vom Einfluss großer Bands aus Übersee. Mit ihrer einzigartigen Herangehensweise an die Musik und der Erfahrung jedes einzelnen Bandmitgliedes erschufen sie so ihren ganz eigenen und unverkennbaren Stil.

Mit Mikko Karmila und Mika Jussila aus Finnland, die für ihre Arbeit mit NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM und AMORPHIS bekannt sind, produzierten sie Ende 2016 ihre erste EP. Im Oktober 2017 veröffentlichten sie dann ihr erstes Studioalbum, „Awakening From Abyss“.

Das  langersehnte zweite Studioalbum der Power Metaller „Clockwork Immortality“ erschien am 7. Dezember 2018 via Arising Empire.

“Clockwork Immortality features the strongest, most powerful elements of our second EP Battle Against Damnation with the speedy and melodic elements of our debut album Awakening From Abyss”, so Bassist Miho Bass zu Arising Empire. “This is the evolution of LOVEBITES so far, I would be happy if you can feel the power overflowing from each song”.

Zum  Song „Rising“ kommentiert Miyako: “One of the key sections to ‘Risng’ is a piano and vocal part in the middle, I used this piece to pay my respects to Chopin. If you listen carefully you may be able to notice it. I believe this song will be one of LOVEBITES’ defining tracks.”
