Am 25. September präsentiert Steve Hackett seinen neuesten Live-Mitschnitt der allseits gefeierten UK-Tour 2019.  Auf dem Album zu hören: „Selling England By The Pound & Spectral Mornings: Live At Hammersmith“. 

Das Konzert wurde im Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, in der letzten Nacht der Tour, aufgenommen. Steve Hackett wurde von seiner Tourband begleitet,  bestehend aus Roger King (Keyboards), Jonas Reingold (Bass), Rob Townsend (Saxophone / Flöten), Craig Blundell (Schlagzeug und Percussion) mit Nad Sylvan Gesang . Als Gaststars wirkten Steves Bruder John Hackett (Flöte) und Amanda Lehmann (Gitarre und Gesang) mit.

Diese Tour war für Steve Hackett etwas ganz Besonders, da auf ihr sein Lieblingsalbum aus der Zeit als er Gitarrist bei Genesis war in voller Länge gespielt wurde. Die Show enthielt auch ausgewählte Tracks aus Steves persönlichem Lieblingsalbum aus seiner Solokarriere „Spectral Mornings“ sowie Tracks aus seiner gefeierten Veröffentlichung At The Edge Of Light aus dem Jahr 2019.

Fazit: Selling England By The Pound von GENESIS ist eines der großartigsten Alben in der Rock-Geschichte. Das Ganze live: einfach sensationell!
