Kosmogonia – Enthrone the Gods

Kosmogonia ist eine Melodic Death Metal-Band aus Athen, Griechenland. Was die Band besonders macht, ist ihr Mix aus Death Metal und Folk-Metal. Das neue Album heißt „Enthrone the Gods“ und bietet genau das.

Am Anfang ihres Bestehens spielten Kosmogonia melodischen Thrash Metal, aber ab 2017 änderten sie nach einem Besetzungswechsel auch ihren Stil. Und so fingen sie an, ihrer Musik mehr Folk-Elemente hinzuzufügen.

2019 präsentierte die Band ihren dritten Demo-Song mit dem Titel „Elysian Fields“. Hier setzten Kosmogonia erstmals weiblichen Gesang ein. Am 23. Juni 2020 veröffentlichten sie dann ihren ersten offiziellen Videoclip zum Song „Raven’s Call“ und am 7. Juli desselben Jahres ihr erstes offizielles Full Length Album via Cronus Productions. Auf das Album „Enthrone the Gods“ wurde neben dem neuen Material auch das Lied „Raven’s Call“ verewigt.

Gemischt und gemastert wurde Enthrone the Gods von OGrego (Athanasios Karapanos), die symphonische Orchestrierung stammt von Marinos Tokas und das Albumcover ist aus der Feder von Cosmas Hiolos (Krieg Design).
